Website Content Administrator

We have a new position for a website administrator to help manage the content on which provides tens of thousands of visitors with class-leading news, reviews and features every day.

This key role needs a confident individual who has some experience of creating and updating web pages, as well as creating new content and editing existing content for improved SEO on a website that already sees visitors view over 12 million pages every month and attracts over 20 million users annually.

Therefore, an understanding of the latest SEO techniques is important, as is an understanding of website analytical software and the ability to use those findings to produce evidence-based reports that evaluate the performance and engagement of the site’s content.

The successful candidate will also assist the team to improve and develop the website’s content structures, as well as work with the editors on their content plans and to help them meet their deadlines.

In addition, there will be a significant part of the role dedicated to helping create our enewsletters, which already have industry-leading open rates, so some experience of enewsletter production would be an advantage.

There will also be opportunities to work in other areas, including video, digital and print magazines, social media and commercial content.

It is not essential to have an in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, but what is essential is the willingness to learn new skills and put those skills into practice.

We will call potential candidates as soon as possible for an initial virtual meeting on Zoom before progressing to a face-to-face interview at our Bourne offices.

Working for a family-run business has many benefits and will provide you with an attractive salary, a company pension and life assurance scheme, 26 days holiday per year, ongoing training and development, a 35-hour week, free car parking and a real career path.
