Senior Web Developer (full stack)

Warners Group Publications is a specialist in digital marketing, niche market content publishing, and events. Our rapidly growing multimedia business is home to almost 200 staff, across seven divisions, owning and curating some of the best-loved brands in the UK, we are looking to fill the following position:

Due to our continued success and expansion, we are looking for someone with an eye for detail and a flare for creativity. Does this sound like you? Read on!

You will be an expert in:

  1. C# – ASP.Net MVC
  2. .NET Core & Entity Framework Core
  3. SQL Server and Entity Framework
  4. Front end development skills, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap
  5. SOLID design principles

You’ll be good at, but need to improve:

  • Microsoft Azure platform development and administration
  • Test-driven development – unit tests, functional tests, etc
  • Microservices architecture
  • Source Control (TFS and/or Git)
  • User Experience (UX) testing
  • PHP development

You must also have:

  • Computer Science degree, relevant equivalent or minimum 3 years in a web development role (agency or in-house)
  • Full stack web development experience
  • The aptitude to produce high-quality, clean code that is efficient and easy to maintain
  • The competence to balance quality vs tight release schedules
  • The flexibility to work in a team, alone without supervision or remotely from home
  • The ability to take responsibility for your own productivity and output
