  • Position: DevOps Developer
  • Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire with flexible remote/hybrid options

About the role:

As a DevOps Developer at Warners, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming our software development and delivery processes.

You’ll work closely with our talented team to design, implement, and optimise the infrastructure and tools that power our products and services. This is an exciting opportunity to significantly impact our technology stack while advancing your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using industry-leading CI/CD tools.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and services on Microsoft Azure.
  • Domain management and Cloudflare administration, including security, WAF, SSL management and DNS management.
  • Utilise containerisation technologies for efficient application deployment and scaling.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate provisioning and configuration.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability and security, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal operation.
  • Provide guidance and support to end users through our internal ticketing system.
  • Backend systems support, diagnostics, fault finding and liaison with external suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in DevOps or related roles with a strong background in software development.
  • A high level of experience in using Microsoft development tools and languages such as C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and hosted Microservices architecture is necessary.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services.
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies and orchestration tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
  • An understanding of PCI DSS compliance, and payment gateway integration would be an advantage.
