Content Editor

We require a passionate content editor to help us create and post amazing content for our portfolio of outdoor leisure platforms, which include the country’s leading outdoor leisure website and the UK’s best-selling motorhome magazine.

The ideal candidate will be involved in a variety of multimedia, multi-platform channels, including editing and creating content for online, print and digital magazines, including motorhome, campervan, caravan and camping news, reviews and travel features, as well as commercial and technical articles alongside a team of content editors.

The right candidate will also help with planning and analytical reporting, so should be experienced in shaping perfect online and e-newsletter content, have a good knowledge of the latest SEO techniques and know the ins and outs of Google Analytics, as well as be willing to learn new skills.

It is not essential to have an in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, but what is essential is the passion and drive to deliver class-leading content across our multimedia platforms.

You will be working on a website that already sees our visitors view over 12 million pages every month and attracts over 20 million users a year. You will also be helping to create e-newsletters that have industry-leading open rates, as well as working on video platforms that have tens of thousands of subscribers and on social media channels that have a hugely engaged audience. As the position is multi-platform, there will be work in other areas including on our market-leading print titles and their supplements.

Working for a family-run business has many benefits and will provide you with an attractive salary, a company pension and life assurance scheme, 26 days holiday per year, ongoing training and development, a 35-hour week, free car parking and a real career path.
