The awards, judged by a panel of editors from Out & About Live, What Motorhome, Campervan and MMM magazines, recognised the most impressive new campervans entering the UK market for the season ahead. This year’s result marks a major moment for the German manufacturer, which has completely redesigned its line-up for 2026 and introduced a bold new identity across the range.
Campervan of the Year: Bürstner B66 600 C The B66 range is at the heart of Bürstner’s transformation and the judges agreed that the 600 C model stood out as the most compelling new campervan of the year.
With a full redesign, automatic gearbox as standard and a near-complete spec list included in the price, the B66 600 C was praised for exceptional value without compromising quality. Rachel Scholes, Awards Judge and Deputy Editor, MMM, “Bürstner managed a ‘ground up’ redesign of its entire range, with the B66 arguably being the biggest star.
“With spec that includes an auto as standard and a very limited options list, it will be one of the easiest campervans to buy…”
Iain Duff, Awards Judge and Editor, Campervan,“Good value isn’t about bargain-basement prices, it’s about getting the most you can for your money without losing anything in quality, and with an impressive spec list that includes pretty much everything you’d ever want, the B66 600 C delivers value in spades.”
Peter Vaughan, Head of the judging panel, Editor, What Motorhome, “Take a well-proven and top-selling fixed bed campervan layout. Add all the spec that buyers want, including an automatic gearbox. Then set the price, so that it looks superb value. That’s the recipe of the B66 range and this 600 C model stands out as the pick of the bunch.”
The Bürstner B66 600 C was also named Best Fixed Double Bed Campervan, whilst the Bürstner Habiton HM 6.0 won Best Campervan Innovation. The Habiton HM 6.0 stood out for its inventive patented sliding washroom and a folding, extendable bed that expands into the space freed by the moving washroom.
The Out & About Live judges described it as one of the most innovative space-saving systems ever seen in a campervan. A spokesperson from Bürstner added, “We are delighted to have received not just one, but two awards for the B66 600 C!”
“With the Habiton, we introduced an innovative campervan based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter compact, suitable for everyday use, and equipped with unique features such as our patented moveable washroom. We are delighted that this dedication to innovation has now been recognised with the Best Campervan Innovation award.”
